From your menu link to a file you can print
- 01
Check the public destination
Open the menu on a phone without signing in. Use its complete web address, preferably HTTPS. Do not use an admin dashboard link, an invitation or an address that only works on your computer.
- 02
Generate the code in your browser
The image contains the link you enter. Creating it does not require sending that link to a server or adding a Menuviora tracking address between the code and your menu.
- 03
Choose SVG or PNG and test a sample
SVG keeps its edges when resized and works well for page layout and print production. PNG works in documents and tools that accept images. Preserve the white border and test the finished piece before ordering a print run.
What you can change after printing
This tool creates a static QR code: its encoded link cannot be edited after generation. Some services use the term dynamic QR for a code pointing to an editable redirect; that intermediate service has its own conditions. An editable menu behind a stable address also lets you change menu content without reprinting.
| Change | What happens to the printed code |
|---|---|
| You update dishes or prices at the same address | The code keeps pointing to that address. Check that the published menu shows your changes. |
| The menu moves to a different address | Generate and test a new code, or keep the old address working through a redirect you control. |
| The hosting service stops serving the menu | The code retains its information, but cannot make an unavailable page work again. |
Prepare a code you can check at the table
- Keep the dark code on its white background and preserve the entire border in the downloaded file.
- Leave a clear border at least four modules wide: four of the small squares that make up the code. Keep text and graphics outside that space.
- Choose the print size for its placement and viewing distance. No single measurement guarantees scanning with every phone.
- Test the final material and finish with different cameras under your restaurant’s lighting. Check that the menu also loads over mobile data.
- Put each table-order code at its matching table. Copying a general menu link does not create a table identity or enable ordering.

Questions before you start
Does the downloaded QR code expire?
The image has no expiry date imposed by this generator. Its destination and hosting must remain available for it to stay useful. Check existing prints when you change domains, providers or addresses.
Can I use a PDF menu link?
Yes, if the PDF already has a public web address that guests can open without permission. Paste that address here; this tool does not upload files. Test readability and download time on a phone.
Do I need a Menuviora subscription to download the code?
No. This generator offers SVG and PNG downloads without an account or subscription. Creating and operating a menu in Menuviora requires the appropriate paid plan.
Does this generator include analytics or payments?
No. The file opens the address you provide and does not add scan tracking, order reception or payment processing. Those capabilities depend on the page or service you link to.
